Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville will host a Yoga Nidra Training with Chitra Sukhu from March 31 – April 4, 2027. This transformative Yoga Nidra Training is open to all: Yoga teachers who want to share this practice, and anyone who wants to experience it more deeply for themselves. Participants will delve into the profound art of Yoga Nidra, a practice renowned for its healing and restorative powers.

Under the guidance of Chitra Sukhu, a globally recognized expert in Yoga Nidra and Hatha Yoga, students will learn not only the foundational principles of this ancient technique but also how to effectively share its benefits with others. Chitra, the daughter of esteemed yogis Shri Yogi Hari and Leela Mata, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, drawing from classic Yogic, Ayurvedic, and Tantric texts. This course offers a unique opportunity to explore the depths of consciousness and the transformative potential of Yoga Nidra, often referred to as “Yogic Sleep.” Participants will gain insights into its ability to alleviate stress, trauma, and insomnia, while also enhancing physical and mental well-being.

During the course, you will enjoy:
  • Daily Yoga Nidra practice to restore body, mind, and spirit
  • Lectures that build a deep understanding of the Yoga Nidra process
  • Techniques to harness Yoga Nidra for releasing emotional and psychic blocks
  • Practices that initiate life-changing processes from deep within, beyond the thinking mind
  • The experience of a deep, blissful state of being
  • Practice teaching in a supportive environment
  • Ample practice time for each student
