In this video, Joseph Campbell recounts the story of Indra from the Brahma Vaivarta Purana in part 2 of Bill Moyer’s “The Power of Myth.” In addition to the inspiring narration, this short video is also beautifully illustrated. Joseph John Campbell was an American professor of literature at Sarah Lawrence College who worked in comparative mythology and comparative religion. His work covers many aspects of the human experience and he was most widely known for his signature quote: “Follow your bliss.”
