Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville will begin a limited reopening, with Integral Yoga Sadhana Weekends starting September 8, 2021. The Ashram is excited to begin welcoming back small numbers of participants to the refuge of the Ashram from Thursdays to Sundays each week. Integral Yoga Sadhana Weekends are freshly designed experiences based on the Ashram’s strong foundation of spiritual retreat established by Sri Swami Satchidananda. Select weekends will be offered as Signature Integral Yoga Silent Retreats.

The Ashram is also offering a new Residential Volunteer Program for experienced Ashramites looking to dive deep into Karma Yoga, the yogic lifestyle, and personal spiritual practice with the support of the Ashram environment. And, the Ashram continues to offer Online Programs and Services.

Further in the future, the Ashram looks forward to being able to invite guests and day visitors to the Ashram as we gradually reopen. Rev. Siva Moore, Ashram executive director, shared this further message:

“Our sharing of peace, joy, and spiritual nourishment rests on your well-being and the well-being of the Yogaville community. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we must take serious protective measures to safely serve everyone possible, from nearby and far away, including the more vulnerable among us.

“We have carefully created Health Protocols and adjusted our operations to enhance Ashram safety based on CDC and other government guidelines. After extensive consideration, we are also currently requiring COVID-19 vaccination prior to arrival. We realize this may delay some of us from visiting who are not fully vaccinated, and we thank everyone for their patience during our period of closure and gradual reopening. We will continue to revisit all health policies as conditions change in order to best serve our visitors and community. Due to the Delta and other variants, we may add additional protections such as testing or indoor mask-wearing.

“Thank you for your dedication to Yoga, your support of the Ashram, and your service in the world. We look forward to welcoming you to the Ashram!”
