Mind the Gap! A Teaching from Deepak Chopra

Featured, Yoga Philosophy

In this short video, Dr. Deepak Chopra (doctor, spiritual teacher and author) summarizes the teachings of the nondual traditions with this explanation of one’s true essence-nature. He says, “The knowing secret is in the gap between every thought, every sensation, every perception, every sound, every breath, every image, every experience. The gap between objects is a perceptual gap between two snapshots of experience. So, in the gap is infinite creativity, infinite possibilities, and pure joy: Sat-chid-ananda. Sat, eternal truth; chid, pure consciousness; ananda, spontaneous joy. Mind the gap and you will be free! Satchidananda: that’s the secret.”
