Kripalu recently announced that Jeffery Dusek, Ph.D., who brings years of Harvard Medical Center experience, will help expand Kripalu’s unique dedication to scientific Yoga research and RISE program. Dr. Dusek is the first CRO at Kripalu, as the center is leading the field of Yoga with dedicated research initiatives. He has 20 years of experience in researching the area of mind, body, and integrative medicine. He directed major research projects while a faculty member at the Harvard Medical School, and was the former research director of the Benson Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, and the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing at Allina Healthcare. He is a researcher funded by a multi-year grant from the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, to study large-scale, real-world applications of complementary practices.

Kripalu’s dedication to scientific research as it can be applied to their RISE program has proven to create a life-changing experience grounded in science and the practice of mindfulness and positive psychology to promote clarity, resilience, improved situational awareness, better decision making, work/life integration, and superior long-term performance for both individuals and organizations as a whole. The RISE program  is a 3-5 day on-site, Yoga-based mindfulness training intensive for first responders, educators, health services, and corporations. Dr. Dusek will also be conducting original Yoga research.
