Join Integral Yoga teacher Stephen McFarland for his annual “Thanksgiving Day Gratitude” Hatha Yoga class. This year’s online class donations will benefit the Wonder Farm Animal Sanctuary & Hospice. In such a challenging time in the world Stephen’s hope is that we all can come together in class and discover a deep sense of gratitude by directing our thoughts and attention towards all there is to be grateful for in life. Gratitude practice has been a constant in his life and as we move through a Yoga practice of asana and pranayama with a focus on directing our consciousness towards gratitude for shelter, health, family, friends, chocolate and whatever it is that we feel grateful for, that we can feel the profound effects of cultivating gratitude on our internal landscape and plant the seeds for walking through the world with more gratitude.
The Integral Yoga Institute of San Francisco will dedicate all the proceeds to Wonder Farm Animal Sanctuary & Hospice, a project of Wonder Dog Rescue, now rescuing more than dogs! Blessed with a beautiful farm, they are expanding the rescue efforts to include farm animals in need of forever homes. The farm’s wish is to provide sanctuary to animals rescued from factory farms or surrendered by their owners. More info about this organization here: www.wonderdogrescue.org.
