Integral Yoga India Celebrates International Day of Yoga 2023

The Integral Yoga Institute of Coimbatore, India is commemorating International Day of Yoga 2023 with a day of Yoga: asanas, pranayama, talks and featuring 108 rounds of Surya Namaskar, the Sun Salutation. The International Day of Yoga was established by the United Nations in 2014. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (India), in his UN address in 2014, had suggested the date of June 21, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and shares a special significance in many parts of the world.
