Guru Poornima 2020: July 4–5th

Featured News

For the first time in Integral Yoga history, Guru Poornima will be celebrated only virtually rather than as a special in-person event at Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville and in Integral Yoga centers worldwide. This yearly observance is a time to pay homage and offer respects for one’s Guru or spiritual teacher. Swami Satchidananda expanded the tradition to include honoring the Gurus, saints, and sages of all the wisdom paths.
Yogaville will host a morning and evening program on Saturday, July 4th. Then, on Sunday evening, July 5th, Yogaville will host full moon chanting in remembrance of all the lives that have been lost due to, and affected by, both the pandemic and racial/social injustice. Find more details about these free programs at the links for Yogaville, New York Integral Yoga Institute, and San Francisco Integral Yoga Institute. The Yogaville programs will be available via Livestream (no registration needed). For the other programs, please follow the links to register in order to receive Zoom links.
