Diners were left speechless after Prince William unexpectedly turned up at a London food van to dish up veggie burgers, made from Earthshot Prize-winning products. The Prince of Wales founded The Earthshot Prize in 2020. The global environmental prize works to discover, accelerate and scale ground-breaking solutions to repair and regenerate the planet.
Each year, the prize is awarded to five winners who present the most extraordinary eco-solutions. The Sorted Food founders – renowned for their own environmentally friendly food solutions – were invited by the Prince to review and test three recent winning innovations which work to reduce food, fuel or plastic waste. …its now culminated in the creation of the very first ‘Earthshot Burger.’
