May it enlighten me too!
The Gayatri mantra is a prayer for enlightenment. It is one of the most powerful mantras in the Vedas, the ancient Hindu scriptures. When chanted with faith and devotion it awakens the intuitive powers and the intellect to realize the higher Self, the divinity within.
Sri Swami Satchidananda, one of the first Yoga Masters to bring the classical Yoga tradition to the West, is well-known for his combination of practical wisdom and spiritual insight.
