Featured News

Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville is holding its virtual Annual Fundraising Event on Saturday, December 9th at 9 am EST (New York time) and Sunday, December 10th at 12 noon (New York time). The theme this year is, Keeping Hope Alive: Yoga for These Times. The event will be an inspiring experience and will feature a film with a welcome from  Mataji (Swami Gurucharanananda Ma, senior Integral Yoga monk), testimonials, report from the Ashram’s Chief Executive, Rev. Siva Moore, and a live chat.

As you know 2023 has been a challenging time financially for the Ashram due to rising expenses and the challenge of reestablishing pre-covid programming levels. Your assistance at this time is greatly appreciated. Please register yourself (your good energy will add to the success of our event) and invite friends, family, sangha and students to this uplifting event!

Fundraising is a curious journey; often, people fear asking for money or being asked! However, fundraising can also be joyful if we approach it together as a community! Back in the 1980s, when the organization was collecting funds for the Light Of Truth Universal Shrine in Yogaville, everyone around the world joined together to hold bake sales, benefit dinners, musical events, etc. Some created piggy bank jars, and even children joined in the task of filling them up the piggy banks spare change. Upon presenting the filled banks to Swami Satchidananda, he celebrated the piggy bank donations as if they were worth millions. He taught us that the intention behind the giving matters more than the amount. Giving connects us to causes we believe in, bringing us immense joy at being able to make a difference in the world. Whenever there were financial challenges he would always say: “Drops Make Oceans.”

Please join this special event and help make drops into oceans! Thank you! Om Shanti.
