In a recent Forbes magazine article, the reporter asked, “Is in-person Yoga a no-go in a post-pandemic world?” Yoga pods (see photo)? We asked Chandra Sgammato (Integral Yoga Institute of New York executive director) her view: “We are confident we can sanitize regularly, create enough space for proper distancing and clean Yoga rooms thoroughly between classes. We will need to ask students to bring their own mats and will adapt classes to require no props or touch corrections. The biggest challenge? Seeing how it feels to teach and practice Yoga while wearing masks.”
